une séquence qui démontre le courant à Bali. C'est de la plongée dérivante, ce qui veut dire que l'on se laisse aller avec le courant...ce qui rend la plongée trop facile parce que l'on a même pas besoin de palmer pour se déplacer. Par contre, des fois les courants peuvent entrainer à la verticale...ce qui est très dangeureux, soit parce que l'on peut partir dans les abysses, soit parce que le courant peut nous remonter directement à la surface et là, on explose! Le cas que j'ai vécu, c'est un courant descendant, et c'était trop paniquant. J'y allais pour faire des plongées avec les Bull Sharks...(L'un des seuls endroits où l'on peut le faire). Mais les requins étaient partis en gestation. Alors je n'ai fais que 4 plongées et du snorkeling. Rien de gros, mais plusieurs petits poissons et quelques Barracuda, ainsi qu'une raie aigle que je n'ai pas pu filmer de plus près...(Le guide m'a empêcher de trop m'approcher pour ne pas qu'elle s'éloigne). J'ai fais un vidéo style psychedelic, juste pour faire changement.<br />La première plongée s'est fait sous la pluie...à une épave de bateau du 19e siecle(le mortera). C'est une plongée dans un canal, et c'est d'ailleurs là que l'on peut voir les requins taureaux habituellement. On s'y rend en bus et on plonge à partir du bord. Il faut y aller selon la marée, on commence avec le courant qui va dans un sens, et 45 minutes plus tard, le courant revient vers l'autre direction et on le suit pour terminer la plongée. Sous la pluie, c'était sombre et peu impressionnant.<br />2e plongée à Cueva Honda, à la barrière de corail à Santa Lucia. Là, il y a une cave avec une petite Statue de la vierge à l'intérieur.(prétexte pour y voir quelque chose). Mais c'est une belle cave de 30 pied de diamètre environ. C'est à 26 mètres de profondeur et plus. On y a vu un barracuda à la sortie. Dans le vidéo, on peut y apercevoir une projection de snowboard ainsi qu'une danseuse Cubaine!<br />3e plongée à Poseidon, juste en face du centre de plongée. Là on plonge vers de beaux fonds avec tous ses coraux et plusieurs poissons. (C'est là que l'on a vu une raie aigle de loin.) Dans le vidéo, vous pouvez y voir 2 jolies dames qui y défilaient sur les coraux.<br />4e plongée et de loin la plus belle, AltaGracia. C'est une autre épave du début 20e siècle. Un tugboat en excellent état. Beaucoup de poissons s'y trouve et on peut se promener à l'intérieur. Pas mal impressionnant!<br />Pour le snorkeling, on en faisait directement en face de l'hotel Caracol(environ 500 mètres plus loin, on y trouve un jardin de corail avec beaucoup de poissons). Et on en faisait aussi sous les quais qui sont pas loin à droite et à gauche de la plage du Caracol. C'était mes premières expériences plongées et je crois que ça a été de bonnes expériences techniques. Un total de 75 plongées avec des sites vraiment très variés. De facile à très difficile! Les faciles se faisaient en plongées du bord à Tulamben au nord de l'ile. Là, l'eau est très chaude (29 c), il n'y a pas de courant, et les plongées se font du bord donc pas besoin de dealer avec le bateau.<br />Les plongées difficiles se faisaient à nusa penida et Padang Bai...et là, il y a des thermoclines d'eau froide (parfois aussi bas que 15 c) et aussi du courant parfois très fort. Ce courant peut soit vous promener à l'horizontal (idéal) mais aussi à la vertical (très dangeureux pour les accidents de noyade ou de décompression).<br />Il y a beaucoup de vie marine à Bali et la spécialité du coin est l'énorme Mola-Mola ou Sunfish en anglais et poisson-lune en francais.
